With the beginning of the month of Ramadan, last May 27th, we bring you this interesting campaign, “Global Ramadan”. This initiative, launched in Lebanon, gathers voices from all around the world with the aim of proving the importance of this experience that is able of reaching beyond countries and cultures.
It is a reflection on our ability of being united and acting together, and on the importance of tolerance and the insignificance of frontiers as barriers separating us. This feeling should reach beyond nationalities and beliefs and act as a pillar to promote tolerance, empathy and coexistence, in a world that is becoming more and more multicultural every day, and in which different creeds and cultures live together side by side.
