Celebrities against islamophobia

By Fundación de Cultura Islámica · On 3 January, 2018

The website Mvslim has published this interesting video that gathers some of the celebrities that have spoken up for Muslims throughout 2017. The Muslim travel ban, the constant links between Muslims and terrorism, the attacks to hijab, these are some of the topics that actors, writers and musicians have spoken against. Among them, we find Ashton Kutcher, Kim Kardasian, J.K. Rowling, or Michael Moore.

Celebrities have a strong voice and a bigger capacity to spread a message, which makes it all the more important for them to denounce injustice. We are glad that they have decided to do their bit in the fight against racism and islamophobia, and, as the video says, “use their platform to stand up for others”.
