The controversy that has broken out this month in France with regards to the burkini’s<\/a> ban has shown us the most intolerant and prejudicial face of this State, spreading, in addition, the debate to other countries.<\/p>\n

Among them, the United Kingdom has a relatively high percentage of Muslim population (the 2011 census estimated that a 4.8% of the total population<\/a> was Muslim) and has made the front pages lately due to its conservative regard towards immigration, as seen in the Brexit referendum<\/a>. For this reason, it was decided to carry out a social experiment to see what the reaction would be if the UK decided to implement this ban in its beaches.<\/p>\n
