In contrast with the images usually portrayed of Africa, which highlight its poverty and social problems, the video takes as an example the case of Ethiopia, which is currently implementing a strong and successful democratization process, in pursue of social pacification and women’s equality. This contrast is yet another example of the West’s use of images to impose its superiority to the rest of regions, still dependent and in need to be civilized.
